LED supports conference on agroecology in West Africa

Various civil society organizations, umbrella organizations and government representatives from Burkina Faso, Togo and Senegal took part in the agroecology conference from 7 to 9 November in Dakar, Senegal. For the first time in this form, the participants exchanged results and best methods and practices in their work. One of the main aims of the conference was to network the actors, provide them with a platform and enable the start of a long-term learning and exchange format. In future, new findings should be disseminated more quickly and synergies better utilized. This sharing of expertise is a high priority, particularly in view of the climate crisis.

Our partner organization Horizont3000 provides further information about the event in a blog entry as well as some picture impressions in a 2-minute video. For a longer summary with statements from participants, please click on the video here on this page.
