Small projects

Small projects are small, concrete projects by non-profit organizations from Liechtenstein that the LED specifically supports in order to implement local ideas quickly and flexibly.

The focus is on sustainability, local responsibility and visible impact.

Typically:

  • small projects are implemented within one year
  • have a clearly defined, practical purpose
  • focus on concrete and measurable results

A small project contribution is generally up to CHF 25,000 and can cover a maximum of two thirds of the total project costs. The funding relates exclusively to costs in the project country and fees for local employees.

Organizations wishing to submit a small project to the LED proceed in three steps at:

  1. Contact and check
First contact the LED to clarify whether your idea is eligible for funding.
  2. Submitting the application and planning
You fill out a short application form (maximum four pages). In it, you describe the objectives, activities and a comprehensible project plan including budget.
  3. Final report after implementation
At the end of the project, submit a short report on the results, impact and use of the funds.

Organizations receive support and technical information on the application process from the LED before submitting the application.
