The Liechtenstein Development Service deliberately focuses its work on two strategic areas: Sustainable Food Systems and vocational training.

Both address key challenges in many partner countries and create long-term prospects for people and communities.

A sustainable food system strengthens the livelihoods of smallholder farmers, protects natural resources and promotes resilient agriculture.

At the same time, strong vocational training gives young people and marginalized groups access to income, work and social participation.

With these two focal points, the LED combines ecological sustainability with economic development and creates concrete opportunities for a self-determined future.
