Vocational training

Provision of high-quality digital learning materials for vocational training

Brief description of the project

Learning materials are a central component of every education system. Adapted learning materials help teachers to teach the subject matter, but of course also help learners in their learning process. In Cambodian vocational education and training, good teaching materials are often scarce. But what characterizes good learning materials? What skills and resources are needed to create them? By creating digital learning materials for three professions, the VET Directorate aims to gain important experience in the field of teaching materials and build up the relevant skills. The project will also help teachers to integrate the newly developed learning materials into their lessons in a meaningful way.

At the same time, the project supports the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training in the creation of a ministerial working group on digitalization in vocational education and training.

All learning materials created are made freely accessible.

Project goals

  • The competencies for the creation of learning materials for vocational training have been strengthened.
