From the project idea to concrete implementation

Free workshop for people who are (voluntarily) involved in development cooperation

Small and medium-sized organizations or associations in development cooperation often provide important support for people in countries in need on a voluntary basis. Good project management is also important for these organizations in order not to lose sight of their goals and to use (donation) money responsibly. The more careful the planning, the easier the implementation. In the workshop, we will talk about the phases of the project cycle and in particular discuss how to get from a good idea to a realistic project plan and budget.

Contents:

  • Welcome & get to know the organizations and
    initiatives present
  • What is the project cycle?
  • Tools for good project planning (LogFrame, Theory of Change)
  • Realistic project budgets
  • Open questions

Speaker:

Birgit Anna Mayerhofer has worked for more than 15 years as a project manager, mainly for projects in Africa.
