Strengthening the livelihoods of the population in the Oubri and Nando regions
Brief description of the project
The population of Burkina Faso is in the midst of a multifaceted crisis that is undermining their already precarious livelihoods and the productive capacity of the land. This project aims to intensify the agro-pastoral production of 18,000 families in a sustainable way and support the diversification of their household incomes, while strengthening social cohesion through solidarity measures and ensuring the inclusion of the most vulnerable.
Project goals
- The families (6 people per household) of 18,000 agro-pastoralists, including the most vulnerable, strengthen their livelihoods and improve their production through the use of agroecological methods.
- 2,000 women and young people in the project communities are strengthening their livelihoods by diversifying their sources of income thanks to dignified work in rural areas.
