Building professional skills for the green transition
Brief description of the project
The project increases the availability of qualified workers in the renewable energy sector and thus supports the green transition in the Republic of Moldova.
As part of the project, three vocational qualifications in the field of renewable energies (construction electrician, technician for photovoltaic solar systems, installer of heat pump systems) are being developed. The project supports vocational schools in improving the technical capacities of teaching staff and systematically introducing environmental topics and ecologically sustainable practices at vocational schools.
Young people, especially women and girls, are encouraged to choose a career in the renewable energy sector. In addition, political decision-makers, social partners, civil society and experts are sensitized for a just green transition.
