This project helps save lives: In a partnership with SolidarMed, the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED) supports the urgently needed expansion of (basic) medical care in rural areas of Zambia, a landlocked country in southern Africa. One focus is on the training of so-called Medical Licentiates who, after their training period, are able to run a rural health center and perform life-saving operations there.
