Partner Biovision visits LED office in Schaan

The LED supports the projects “Innovative vegetable cultivation to strengthen traditional varieties(AgroVeg)” and “Farmer Communication Program FCP – knowledge dissemination for organic agriculture” by Biovision. These projects focus on developing agroecological vegetable cultivation methods in the tropics and improving farmers’ access to such agricultural knowledge through radio programs and magazines.

As part of this collaboration, the LED received a visit from its long-standing partner Biovision at the end of August – Loredana Sorg, Member of the Executive Board and Co-Head of Development Projects, and Sharon Nehrenheim, Team Leader Institutional Fundraising at Biovision, met with LED Managing Director Andreas Sicks and LED Project Manager Patrik Aus der Au at the end of August for an annual exchange.

Biovision is a pioneer in the field of agroecology and supports the development, dissemination and application of ecological agricultural methods that lead to a sustainable improvement in food security and at the same time protect the environment. This is also one of the focus areas of the LED.
