Personal exchange with the partner organizations is an important part of the LED’s work. During regular meetings, both partners find time to discuss progress and innovations in ongoing projects and the situation on the ground in the priority countries. One of these partner organizations is the Swiss NGO Swissaid, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. The LED has been supporting its country program in Tanzania since 2018. In August, a delegation from Swissaid visited the LED in Schaan for such an exchange. There are strong overlaps of interest, particularly in the LED’s focus topic of “Sustainable food systems with a focus on agroecology”.
