In cooperation with the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED), the "Netzwerk für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit" (NEZA) organised a workshop in Schaan (Liechtenstein) on 15 November for interested individuals who volunteer to support the Global South.

Birgit Anna Mayerhofer, an experienced project management expert, gave an impressive presentation that it is not enough to simply ‘mean well’ in development cooperation. Particularly in an international context, it is crucial to understand local needs precisely, respect local conditions and act sustainably. Using practical examples, Birgit Mayerhofer shared valuable tips and showed how prudent planning, implementation and sound reporting can be effective.

Participants: 15 representatives from the organisations Verein Lichtblick Nicaragua, OneAgape Nigeria, Verein für Humanitäre Hilfe in Burkina Faso, Hilfswerk Liechtenstein, Liechtenstein Red Cross, Medicor Foundation, Mali Kinderhilfe, YANA Charitable Foundation, wir teilen; Fastenopfer Liechtenstein, Rowdeldy-Stiftung and Kinderheim St. Pauls Kenia.
