Deployment of Skilled Workers

Cooperation for the deployment of skilled workers from Liechtenstein with the Swiss organisation Comundo

Since the LED was founded 60 years ago, 90 people from Liechtenstein have been involved in development cooperation (DC), many of whom still shape Liechtenstein's civil society and solidarity today. For a long time, the LED maintained its own programme for the deployment of skilled workers, which came to a standstill in connection with the COVID pandemic. In 2025, the topic of staff deployment was taken up again with the partner organisation Comundo, which specialises in foreign assignments.

Comundo is the largest organisation for personnel development cooperation in Switzerland and also acts as an institutional partner of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). It provides professional structures for the deployment of skilled personnel in the Global South.

The programme is for residents of Liechtenstein only. It is aimed at motivated and experienced professionals from various sectors who are willing to spend at least two years on an assignment in the field. The currently available assignments abroad can be found on the Comundo website. We recommend that interested professionals register for an information event (Link to German page, English not available) with the Comundo organisation.

The next information event will take place online via Zoom on Thursday, May 8, 2025, 6.30 - 8 pmFurther details and registration (in German).

Skilled workers who are interested in this assignment can initially contact the LED. Your contact person is:
