Support for the Platform for Agroecology (TPP)

With the new LED Strategy 2023-2026, support for a «Sustainable food system with a focus on agroecology» has become one of the two priority themes of the LED. This is the focus of the LED's work in the partner countries Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, Tanzania and Mozambique.

At an international level, the Transformative Partnership Platform for Agroecology seeks to help agroecological methods achieve a breakthrough in agricultural research and practice. This is done through the approach and attempt to gradually integrate agroecological principles into the food system and thereby support the urgently needed transformation of the food system towards more sustainability.

LED supports the platform both institutionally and in terms of monitoring progress towards change in its partner countries.
