Partner organisation Biovision visits LED in Schaan
The LED supports the projects «Intensified Agroecological-Based Cropping Systems to Enhance Food Security and Traditional African Vegetables» (AgroVeg) and «Farmer Communication Programme FCP - Knowledge Dissemination for Organic Agriculture» by Biovision. These projects focus on the development of agroecological vegetable cultivation methods in the tropics and improving farmers' access to such knowledge through radio broadcasts and magazines.
As part of this cooperation, the LED received a visit from its long-standing partner Biovision at the end of August - Loredana Sorg, Member of the Executive Committee and Co-Head Development Projects, and Sharon Nehrenheim, Team Leader Institutional Fundraising at Biovision, met at the end of August with LED CEO Andreas Sicks and LED Project Manager Patrik Aus der Au for their annual exchange.
Biovision is considered a pioneer in the field of agroecology and supports the development, dissemination and application of ecological agricultural methods that lead to sustainable improvements in food security and at the same time protect the environment. This is one of the focus topics of the LED.
