Liechtenstein finances Solar Energy Training Centers in Moldova
Investment in Moldova's future: State Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Research Galina Rusu and the responsible LED project manager Miriam Speh inaugurated a training center for photovoltaics in the capital Chisinau together with the school directorate. Several representatives from the private sector were also present on October 13. The project "Solar Energy Competence Initiative II" (SECI) financed by the LED has as its main objective the training and certification of qualified installers in the field of renewable energies. Training courses in photovoltaics and solar thermal energy have been established at three vocational schools. In her speech, the State Secretary described renewable energy sources as one of the most effective solutions to the energy and environmental crisis and praised Liechtenstein's investment in the training of professionals as an important prerequisite for the sustainable development of the country.
