Internal LED-Meeting in Liechtenstein

The LED team and the LED Foundation Board met in Nendeln, Liechtenstein, on 27 November for a half-day closed meeting on the topic of «Working in fragile contexts and a difficult security situation». During this event, LED CEO Andreas Sicks and Project Manager Marion Reichenbach presented LED's involvement in Mali and the currently difficult security situation there. Owen Frazer, Senior Advisor for Conflict Transformation at LED's partner organisation Helvetas, then presented how Helvetas' local teams are dealing with the challenging situation and what adjustments have been made to their working methods over the years in order to be able to react flexibly to changing situations.

For both partners, the safety of employees and project participants on site is a top priority for future cooperation.
