Finance Seminar successfully completed

Eighteen people from ten Liechtenstein and eight Austrian organisations took part in the seminar «Financial management of projects» in Feldkirch on the 6th of November. The speaker was financial coach Reinhard Lassner, who has also been working as a project administrator and financial coordinator for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in countries of the Global South since 2013. He imparted the basic knowledge required for successful budgeting and cost accounting for small-scale projects in development cooperation. In group work, the participants discussed and deepened their knowledge of research, relationship building and writing funding applications using practical examples. The interesting exchange of experiences, the mix of theory and practice and the networking were greatly appreciated. The one-day seminar, a joint event organised by the Liechtenstein Development Service and the State of Vorarlberg, was successfully implemented.
