As the current strategy expires at the end of 2026, the starting signal has now been given for the development of the 2027 to 2030 strategy period. The LED team met with Urs Zollinger and Alison King at Haus Gutenberg for an initial kick-off.  <br\/> <br\/>At the beginning, the focus was on assessing the current situation: What has worked well over the past four years? Where does the LED stand today? What experiences from the program countries, projects and partnerships should be taken into the future?  <br\/> <br\/>The focus then turned to the future. The focus was on issues relating to global developments and their impact on international cooperation. Topics such as declining public development funding, climate change, geopolitical changes and other global trends were discussed and categorized.  <br\/> <br\/>The first possible directions were developed using creative methods and discussions in plenary sessions. The findings from the workshop form the basis for the new 2027 to 2030 strategy, which will be further developed over the coming months together with the Foundation Board and with the involvement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office for Foreign Affairs.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every four years, the LED reviews and sharpens its strategic direction.
