At the invitation of the LED, members of the state parliament visited the LED office in Schaan on June 14. The reason for the meeting was the presentation of the new LED Strategy 2023-2026, which the LED Foundation Board implemented in March. The LED provided information on the associated adjustments and changes to the LED’s work. During a stand-up lunch in the LED office lasting around an hour, the key elements of the new strategy were presented to the members of parliament and it was explained why the LED had chosen to focus geographically and in terms of content. After the presentation, SR President Peter Beck, SR Vice President Doris Beck and Managing Director Andreas Sicks were on hand to answer questions from the inquisitive guests. Of particular interest were questions about the criteria for selecting priority countries, the implementation of the strategy and the increased visibility of the LED as a bilateral donor in the partner countries. The politicians also took the opportunity to get to know the entire LED team. <\/p>\n\n
