LED launches cooperation for the secondment of specialists from Liechtenstein<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

From January 2025, people living in Liechtenstein will have the opportunity to apply for personnel assignments in countries of the Global South. This initiative is offered by the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED) in cooperation with the Swiss NGO Comundo, which provides professional support. <\/p>\n\n

(Schaan, 30 December 2024) The Liechtenstein Development Service (LED) and Comundo have launched a program to send a limited number of specialists from Liechtenstein to countries in the Global South. The program is aimed at motivated and experienced professionals from various sectors who are willing to spend at least two years working on site. Interested persons can contact the LED directly for an initial contact. The assignments currently available abroad can be found on the Comundo website www.comundo.org. <\/p>\n\n

New partnership with Comundo<\/strong>As a state bilateral donor, the LED has been promoting and financing development cooperation projects since 1965. It maintained its own program for the secondment of specialist personnel, which came to a standstill in connection with the COVID pandemic. The topic of personnel secondment has now been taken up again with the specialized partner organization Comundo. Comundo is the largest organization for personnel development cooperation in Switzerland and also acts as an institutional partner of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). It provides professional structures for the deployment of specialist personnel in the Global South. <\/p>\n\n
