Friends and companions experienced Heinz as a very social person. Together with Gerard Batliner and Robert Allg\u00e4uer, he was one of the founding fathers of the Liechtenstein Development Service. In the early years from 1965 to 1972, he steered the fortunes of the LED as President of the Foundation Board. He was predestined for this position due to his understanding of international social and economic contexts as well as his humanitarian approach. In him, Liechtenstein has lost a great personality who always worked for the good of the community. It is with great gratitude that we remember his formative role for our institution as well as his humane, warm and respectful manner.      <em><\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>We will keep Heinz&#8217;s work in honorable memory.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"gb-text small__font\"><em>Heinz Batliner (1930 to 2024) was the founding father and first Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the LED  <\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Heinz Batliner leaves behind traces of solidarity.
