{"id":3022,"date":"2025-11-03T16:40:00","date_gmt":"2025-11-03T15:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/led.digicube.dev\/we-are-helping-to-shape-the-future-of-vocational-training\/"},"modified":"2026-03-31T15:52:31","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T13:52:31","slug":"we-are-helping-to-shape-the-future-of-vocational-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/led.li\/en\/we-are-helping-to-shape-the-future-of-vocational-training\/","title":{"rendered":"We are helping to shape the future of vocational training"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"gb-text size_20\">On 22. and On October 23, 2025, the Donor Committee for Dual Vocational Education and Training (DC dVET) celebrated its tenth anniversary in Durr\u00ebs, Albania.<\/p>\n\n<p>Under the motto &#8220;Connect &#8211; Discover &#8211; Celebrate&#8221;, representatives from politics, business, development cooperation and vocational education and training systems came together to exchange experiences, learn about practical tools and develop new perspectives for the future of vocational education and training.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Exchange and networking<\/strong><br\/>The Liechtenstein Development Service (LED) was also represented on site: Miriam Speh, LED Programme Officer, and Nadejda Burciu, LED Country Coordinator in the Republic of Moldova, took part in the anniversary conference and used the opportunity to network with experts and partner organizations from the region and beyond. A delegation from the Ministry of Education, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the NGO &#8220;AED&#8221; came from the Republic of Moldova.<br\/> <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Four countries &#8211; one vision<\/strong><br\/>The LED has been a member of the DC dVET, an association of the development agencies ADA (Austria), BMZ (Germany), SDC (Switzerland) and LED (Liechtenstein), for many years. Together, they promote the dissemination and further development of dual vocational education and training in partner countries.<br\/><br\/>The aim is to provide young people with practical training opportunities that will improve their chances on the job market and at the same time secure qualified specialists for companies.<br\/> <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Key to sustainable development<\/strong><br\/>For the LED, dual vocational education and training is a central element of its strategy to promote sustainable development. Vocational training creates prospects, strengthens local economic systems and helps to reduce poverty. The LED focuses on partnership and practical relevance &#8211; in close cooperation with educational institutions, companies and governments.<br\/><br\/>The anniversary conference provided an opportunity to look back on ten years of successful cooperation between the DC dVET and the partner countries. &#8220;For me, the conference was an inspiring encounter with impressive, committed personalities &#8211; full of expertise, openness and humor.
