Who we are<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The Liechtenstein Development Service is the official bilateral development cooperation organization of the Principality of Liechtenstein. Together with partner organizations, the LED is committed to reducing poverty, promoting sustainable development and opening up long-term prospects for people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The work of the LED is based on clear principles. These include the United Nations’ “Leave no one behind” principle, the promotion of gender equality, respect for cultural diversity and the responsible use of natural resources. These principles shape the selection of partner organizations, the development of programmes and the implementation of projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The LED works with government and civil society partners worldwide and concentrates its programs on selected priority countries. The aim is to facilitate sustainable change and support people in improving their living conditions in the long term. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
