{"id":3577,"date":"2026-02-16T15:31:18","date_gmt":"2026-02-16T14:31:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/led.digicube.dev\/performance-mandate\/"},"modified":"2026-04-10T16:42:27","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T14:42:27","slug":"performance-mandate","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/led.li\/en\/who-we-are\/performance-mandate\/","title":{"rendered":"Mandate"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"dc__hero_inner spacing__125\" data-aos=\"fade-up\" data-aos-duration=\"800\">\n<div class=\"gb-element-a6635abd\">\n<div class=\"gb-element-1e398e0b\">\n<h1 class=\"gb-text headline_inner gb-text-11f58dae\">Mandate<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text size_20\">The mandate of the LED is based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gesetze.li\/konso\/2007149000\">Law on International Humanitarian Cooperation and Development<\/a> of the Principality of Liechtenstein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text text_bolder_16\">It includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the planning, financing and monitoring of development projects in selected priority countries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ensuring that these projects have a long-term impact and contribute to improving living conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cooperation with local partner organizations, authorities and international stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>educational work in Liechtenstein to convey global connections and promote commitment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The LED invests around 90% of the available funds directly in projects, large and small-scale, which focus on specific challenges such as food security or vocational training in the priority regions.
